Letter from the Editor
Power. Many wish, hope and pray for power. Many others have delusions of power. But what is power? To me, power is the ability to live your life on your terms. Power is having the audacity to be your own person despite what the crowds are doing. Power is saying, “What recession?” because you are too busy creating your own opportunities to be affected by the economy. Power is pursuing your goals without fear, as fear is the predecessor of failure.
We each have the power within us to succeed or fail. This is all determined by the choices we make, and who we choose to surround ourselves with. Through hard work, dedication, and good networking, power is within reach.
True power is realizing that we all have to answer to a Higher Power, and the way we treat others will definitely affect our lives.
